OFFICIAL NOTICE of Public Hearing:
ITEM : The Cornelia City Commission is seeking input from the public on an issue that is plaguing our city. Large, Commercialized Gatherings in Residential Neighborhoods are becoming more and more common. These large parties create traffic problems because of excessive vehicles parked in the street. The loud music and crowd noise associated with these gatherings disrupt the neighborhood’s quality of life. The city is working to find a resolution to this matter and would like to have input from our citizens.
The Cornelia City Commission will hold a public hearing on this matter at the July Commission Meeting. The hearing will take place at the Cornelia Municipal Courtroom, located at 181 Larkin Street, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 6:00 PM. At said hearing, all parties at interest and citizens shall have the opportunity to be heard relative to the proposed changes.
Any questions or comments prior to the hearing can be submitted to the City Manager’s office in City Hall, by phone at 706-894-3060, or by email at email@example.com.
