May 25, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Historic Train Museum
In honor of Historic Preservation Month, the City of Cornelia is hosting a FREE Guided Walking Tour of Downtown! Of course you can always take the free self-guided walking tour, but on Friday, May 25th at 7 p.m., you'll be able to listen and learn the history of Cornelia from a local historian!
You'll visit everywhere from the time capsule at the Big Red Apple to the old Belk Building to Johnny Gunn's Barber Shop! You'll also be able to take a tour inside the old Cornelia Bank Building, one of the oldest buildings in Downtown. The bank was built in 1900 and is currently undergoing redevelopment!
Please wear comfortable shoes for walking and meet at the Depot located at 102 Grant Place, Cornelia, GA, 30531 at 6:30 p.m.! Feel free to show up early and take a guided tour of the Historic Train Museum as well!
